Guernsey Sizing
We size our guernseys in the traditional way, meaning the size listed is the measurement of the garment itself, not the person. So, if you buy a 44" guernsey it will measure 44" in its circumference and if you measure it flat on a table it will measure 22".
To ascertain your size, we recommend obtaining a snug chest measurement (tape sitting flush to the skin without digging in) then add 3-4 inches to calculate the size required for a classical fit. We find men tend to prefer a classical fit, however women wear them close fitting or loose depending on how they prefer to wear their clothes.
We also offer bespoke lengths of the body and/or sleeves to fit those who are a little taller or shorter, or for those who want a cropped, boxier or longer version to suit personal styles.

Wool is a natural fibre and has natural variances. We work to half an inch tolerance either way.
